jamais un pouvoir absolu sur ma vie professionnelle, ni sur ma capacité à nourrir ma famille et à payer mes factures.

Je terminais alors mon MBA spécialisation marketing. J’ai donc ouvert mon cabinet et je me suis mise à la recherche de contrats. Six mois plus tard, je vivais pleinement de ma business et, un an après, j’embauchais ma première employée.

J’avais la piqûre. Celle de l’entrepreneuriat.

Trois entreprises plus tard — dont un resto-bar — et la première, Beausoleil Médias inc., toujours en activité, j’ai senti le vent changer. L’IA, alors encore assez récente, allait redessiner le marché.

Il était temps de faire place au nouveau.

J’ai étudié en assurance de dommages et, une fois ma licence obtenue, on m’a proposé un poste de formatrice en stratégie et développement des affaires dans un cabinet spécialisé en assurance pour animaux domestiques.

Défi accepté!

Qu’est-il advenu de Beausoleil Médias?

Elle est toujours là.

J’accompagne encore quelques clients et j’y ai ajouté la rédaction de livres (j’suis rendu à mon 6e, quand même assez fière de ça!), la création de PDF pour vous aider (voir ma boutique), et maintenant… La Lettre.

Cette dernière nourrit l’espoir que j’ai toujours entretenu : celui d’inspirer les gens, de les aider à mieux se comprendre et à mieux comprendre l’univers dans lequel nous vivons.

Parce qu’au fond, tous ces détours m’ont menée au même endroit : observer, questionner, comprendre et transmettre.

En privé, je rigole souvent en disant que je suis l’incarnation du Yin-Yang; un pied dans le monde de l’énergie, des rêves et des possibilités et l’autre bien encré dans notre monde physique, très analytique et statistique. Je suis une femme d’affaires, une shawoman, une maman, une conjointe, artiste, et éternelle étudiante.

J’ai un mur bien garni de diplômes durement acquis sur les bancs d’école allant de l’art appliqué, en passant par celui de techniciene en santé animal et un MBA spécialisation marketing. Ce même dossier déborde de certificats de formations différentes en soins holistiques, naturopathie, hypnothérapie, massothérapie, Reiki pour ne nommer que ceux-là.

Si tu jases un peu avec moi, c’est sur qu’on va rapidement aborder les sujets de bonne bouffe, de voyages et d’entrepreneuriat. ;)

Who is Jasmine?

In 2015, I was let go from my job in HR and recruitment. Five years of my life — gone.

I made a promise to myself then: never again would I allow anyone to have absolute power over my professional life, or over my ability to provide for my family and pay my bills. I was finishing my MBA with a specialization in Marketing at the time. So, I opened my own consulting firm and started looking for clients. Six months later, I was making a full-time living from my business, and a year after that, I hired my first employee.

I was hooked. On entrepreneurship.

Three businesses later — including a restaurant-bar — and with my first one, Beausoleil Médias Inc., still going strong, I could feel the winds of change. AI, still relatively new at the time, was going to reshape the market.

It was time to make room for something new.

I studied property and casualty insurance, and once I obtained my license, I was offered a position as a trainer in strategy and business development at a firm specializing in pet insurance.

Challenge accepted!

So, whatever happened to Beausoleil Médias?

It’s still here.

I still work with a handful of clients, and I’ve added book writing to the mix (I’m working on my sixth one, and I’m pretty darn proud of that!), as well as creating PDFs to help you along the way (see my shop), and now… La Lettre.

La Lettre is an expression of the hope I’ve always carried with me: to inspire people, to help them better understand themselves and better understand the world we live in.

Because, when you strip it all down, all those detours have led me to the same place: to observe, question, understand, and share.

In private, I often joke that I’m the embodiment of Yin and Yang: one foot firmly planted in the world of energy, dreams, and possibilities, and the other firmly grounded in our physical world — analytical, practical, and rooted in facts and statistics.

I’m a businesswoman, a shaman, a mother, a partner, an artist, and a lifelong student.

I have a wall covered with hard-earned diplomas from years spent in classrooms — from Applied Arts, to Animal Health Technology, to an MBA specializing in Marketing. And that same file is overflowing with certificates from all sorts of training in holistic care, naturopathy, hypnotherapy, massage therapy, Reiki, just to name a few.
