En 2015, j’ai été remercié de mon emploi en RH/recrutement, 5 ans de ma vie, envolé. Je me suis alors juré que personne n'aurait un pouvoir absolu sur ma vie professionnelle et sur ma capacité à nourrir ma famille et à payer mes factures. Je terminais alors mon BAC en marketing, j’ai donc ouvert mon cabinet et je me suis mise à la recherche de contrats. 6 mois plus tard, je vivais pleinement de ma business et un an après, j’embauchais ma première employée. J’avais la picure, celle de l’entrepreneuriat.
3 entreprises plus tard, (dont un resto-bar) et la première toujours en activité, j’ai senti le vent changé. Il était temps pour du nouveau. J’ai étudié en assurance dommage et une fois ma license obtenu, on m’a proposé un travail de formatrice et développement des affaires dans un cabinet d’assurance pour animaux domestiques. Défis accepté!
Qu’advient-il de Beausoleil Médias ? Toujours en activité ! J’appuis toujours quelques uns de mes anciens clients et j’ai ajouté l’accompagnement d’auteurs qui commencent leur parcours.
Qui est Jasmine?
En privé, je rigole souvent en disant que je suis l’incarnation du Yin-Yang; un pied dans le monde de l’énergie, des rêves et des possibilités et l’autre bien encré dans notre monde physique, très analytique et statistique. Je suis une femme d’affaires, une shawoman, une maman, une conjointe, artiste, et éternelle étudiante.
J’ai un mur bien garni de diplômes durement acquis sur les bancs d’école allant de l’art appliqué, en passant par celui de techniciene en santé animal et un BAC en marketing. Toutefois, ce même dossier déborde de certificats de différentes formations de divers soins holistiques, naturopathie, hypnothérapie, pour ne nommer que ceux-là.
Si tu jases un peu avec moi, c’est sur qu’on va rapidement aborder les sujets de bonne bouffe, de voyages et d’entrepreneuriat. ;)
Who is Jasmine?
In 2015, I was let go from my HR/recruitment job; five years of my life were gone. I vowed then and there that no one would have absolute power over my professional life or my ability to provide for my family and pay my bills. I was finishing my bachelor's degree in marketing, so I opened my own firm and started looking for contracts. Six months later, I was making a living from my business, and a year after that, I hired my first employee. I had caught the entrepreneurial bug.
Three businesses later (including a restaurant-bar), and with the first still operating, I felt the winds of change. It was time for something new. I studied property and casualty insurance, and once I had my license, I was offered a job as a trainer and business development consultant at a pet insurance firm. Challenge accepted!
What about Beausoleil Médias? Still going strong! I still support some of my former clients and have added mentoring for authors who are just starting out
In private, I often joke that I'm the embodiment of Yin and Yang; one foot in the world of energy, dreams, and possibilities, and the other firmly planted in our physical world, which is very analytical and statistical. I'm a businesswoman, a shaman, a mother, a partner, an artist, and a perpetual student.
I have a wall full of hard-earned diplomas, from applied arts to animal health technician and a bachelor's degree in marketing. However, that same file is overflowing with certificates from various holistic health training programs, naturopathy, hypnotherapy, to name just a few.
